Title: Noodle Pudding--Czech

Yield: 1 Recipe

1ptNoodles
3/4cSugar
4 Eggs
2cMilk
1 Lemon
1/4cChopped almonds
1/4cMelted crisco
1/4tsSalt

Cook noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain. Beat eggs until light and stir in the noodles. Grease pudding dish with crisco. Put in layer of noodles, sprinkle with sugar, almonds, grated lemon peel and melted crisco, add another layer of noodles and proceed as before, until all are used. Add milk and salt, bake 1 hour, at 350 degrees, serve hot with milk or cream. This pudding is delicious with stewed fruits.
